Yoga in the nature of Pollino: practice and recovery at River Camp
Yoga in the nature of Pollino: sessions on the banks of Lao, recovery practices and short retreats to combine with outdoor activities at River Camp.
Practicing yoga close to Lao means working with real sounds, temperature and terrain. It is not a room moved outdoors: it is a practice that accepts the forest, water and light as part of the experience.
Sessions can be stand-alone or combined with rafting, trekking and river walking. After intense activity, working on breathing, mobility and release helps you recognize fatigue without tensing up. In a dedicated half day, however, the pace becomes slower and leaves room for complete practice and moments of silence.
You don't need to be flexible or know the positions. The teacher adapts intensity and sequence to the group, offering simple variations. It is sufficient to communicate in advance any injuries, pregnancy or limitations in movement.
Bring comfortable clothes in layers, a sweatshirt for relaxation and a water bottle. The necessary material is indicated at the time of booking. In case of bad weather the session can be adapted or moved to a sheltered area.
The yoga complements a stay at the River Camp well because it gives time back to the body. The river does not ask for performance: it invites you to listen. Write to River Tribe to find out about timetables, individual or group formulas and the possibility of building a small retreat in Pollino.
