We explore the river's most hidden corners through the Pollino UNESCO Global Geopark, crossing the Lao Canyon between limestone walls, waterfalls and flowing water.
Rafting is not risk-free: briefing, equipment, a qualified guide and the right river section help manage risk for the group and current conditions.

We are an outdoor centre in the heart of the Pollino UNESCO Global Geopark. Here water, stone and forest matter more than adrenaline, and your guides live the river every day.
- Nature comes first
- We do not run an amusement park: nature is not scenery here. Sport is the way into the landscape, not a distraction. It is the bridge that connects nature with you.
- Field experience
- The team brings together FIRAFT guides and specialists for every activity, with qualifications listed in their profiles. Certificates matter alongside field experience, local knowledge and responsible route choices.
- The river does not lie
- The river is like life: it changes constantly and teaches us to flow. No descent is the same because the water changes with rain and seasons. We respect the Lao; we do not try to tame it.
