School camps in Pollino
Rafting teaching and cooperation
Our school camps put the spirit of cooperation in the foreground. On board the 7 passengers rafting inflatable, students learn to row to unison and help each other. FIRAFT certified guides illustrate river physics, current reading and navigation principles.
Environmental education in the Geopark
We collaborate with botanical experts and geologists to offer environmental interpretation excursions. Students will discover the limestone walls of the canyon dug by water, the peculiar flora of the Pollino and the importance of the river corridor as a faunal refuge for protected species like the otter.
Information for teachers
All river activities for schools are carried out exclusively on river sections classified as 'easy' or 'touristic' (I and II degree of difficulty), always accompanied by expert river guides. We offer daily formulas or complete packages including agreed common accommodation and meals.
