On the occasion of participation in the Mediterranean Tourism Exchange of Naples, a strategic event dedicated to operators in the sector, in March 2023 La Repubblica dedicates an entire page of the national newspaper to River Tribe.

River Tribe was born in a special territory, in Laino Borgo, in the Pollino National Park, the largest protected area in Italy and a UNESCO Geopark. A magical place for its biodiversity, whose symbol are the thousand-year-old loricated pines. Unique project in the world, River Tribe won the "Best Adventure Travel Company of the Year 2022 Italy" award.

[…]There are 14 outdoor activities that the center offers: from rafting in the sixth highest canyon in Europe to trekking in the "Garden of the Gods", among thousand-year-old trees, up to the routes in mountain bike between historic centers and woods. River Tribe also has a part dedicated to the holistic world in its offer, with paths for personal growth including yoga courses in nature offered by international teachers, massages listening to the sound of the forest and inner research activities. Experiential hospitality is also an essential element for River Tribe, which offers the possibility of staying overnight in tents suspended among the trees or to do glamping, an alternative to traditional camping with greater comfort, but which maintains the immersiveness of the experience. Many possibilities, for an offer that satisfies a target from 4 to 70 years old.

[…] The project was born thanks to the love for nature and extreme adventure of Antonio, his partner Margherita and some friends. The center has also benefited from an important reclamation process of what was an open-air landfill, and thus becomes much more than a commercial project, but a story of redevelopment with a social purpose: the shared dream of counteracting the strong depopulation of the area, demonstrating that it is possible to remain and give life to unique projects. River Tribe today has 7,500 visitors per year in a town of around 1,500 inhabitants, representing the area's greatest tourist attraction. However, the center always proves to be attentive to the impact on the territory, supporting various realities in the Mercure valley.
