The peculiarity of this expedition compared to the others is the technical-scientific approach with information both from an archeological and geological point of view.

The Lao canyon is one of the recognized Geosites within the UNESCO Geo Park. At the end of the first part of the river on the first day, we’ll stop in Campicello where we’ll spend the night in tents. From here we will walk along an old path that leads to the ROMITO CAVE, a site of the upper Paleolithic containing one of the oldest evidences of prehistoric art in Italy, and one of the most important in Europe. Engraved on a boulder we’ll find the famous bull figure.

We’ll spend the night in a tent near the river and around a fire, it will be a magical moment to share unforgettable moments under the starry sky. The next day we’ll proceed with our rafting expedition until Papasidero, and then return to the base with transfer service.
