Monte Gada: a view between Pollino and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
From the peaceful village of Boccalupo, you’ll go up towards the Monte Gada refuge. From here you’ll go up to the summit of Monte Gada, 1264 m, and go along a small limestone ridge, covered with small patches of beech and maple trees that opens your eyes to the entire Pollino massif, the Mercure Valley and the Policastro Gulf on the Tyrrhenian coast. Descending on the characteristic Molarrieto plateau you’ll come back to Boccalupo. At the end it’s also possible to reach the prehistoric site of Romito Cave.
